Boundary Adjustment Notice

BOUNDARY REDUCTION

Notice is hereby given that Ministerial Order No. 170 was approved and ordered on April 3, 2025, authorizing an amendment to Letters Patent for Wynndel Irrigation District, effective from that date. The authorizing legislative provision is section 679 [amendment of letters patent and reissue of letters patent] of the Local Government Act. The purpose of the amendment is to reduce the boundary for Wynndel Irrigation District to exclude a parcel of land.

The Letters Patent for the Wynndel Irrigation District issued on April 17, 1973 (Order in Council 1320/1973) are amended by striking out section 2 in its entirety and substituting the following:

“The improvement district shall comprise all that tract of land, together with all foreshore and land covered by water, consisting of 807.37 hectares within the boundaries of the improvement district as shown on the map identified by Map Reference Number 320.2, dated April 3, 2025, and attached as Schedule 1 to these Letters Patent,”

The Letters Patent for the Wynndel Irrigation District issued on April 17, 1973, are amended by adding as Schedule 1 to the Letters Patent the attached map titled “Schedule 1 to the Letters Patent of the Wynndel Irrigation District”.
